|
| A common first question is: Can you do what I need at a price I can afford? |
| |
| Website Design Fees |
| I specialize in websites that normally fall in
the $500 to $1500 range. Where exactly your site might fall within that range depends on the services you need.
Fees per page can range from $50 to $150, depending on the size and complexity of your site. |
| |
| Flexibility & Choice |
| There are no "one size fits all" website
design packages here. I do offer
pricing options that fit the scale of your website and budget. It's simple. If you're tight for time or a bit unfamiliar with computers and need
someone to take over the whole project, I'm up for that. If you have particular skills you want to contribute that
will save me time (stock photo selection, photo editing, writing, internet research, etc.) it saves you money. |
| Your second
question should be: Will my website do what I want it to do? |
| |
| That will depend on your expectations. It will
take some interaction between you and the web designer but you might be able to partially answer that question
yourself, be reading below. |

Straight Talk About My Qualifications
|
| |
| Small Business Experience: With over 20 years of self-employment and first hand
experience running small businesses, it's
second nature for me to apply a unique insight and clarity to your project, that other web designers lack altogether. An understanding and appreciation of your
needs should be paramount. I've
sat in the chair you're sitting in
(or one like it) looking for the solutions you're seeking. Many web designers out there are either doing it as
a hobby, or they're the new generation of technical specialists, with little marketing or communications experience. |
| |
| Combination of Skills: Want diverse skills, without paying for a "team"?
Ask about my proven results in every area that contributes to a successful website; entrepreneurial ventures, marketing
for small business (in various industries), published writer, media experience, technical and internet savvy. This streamlines your web building experience, makes
it less complex and saves you money. |
| |
| Specialized Markets: I don't take on every project that's offered. Working
in areas that allow me to draw on past experience, gets effective results for you because I am already comfortable with the subjects, how to contribute to the writing and marketing of
these industries and how to optimize sites with the right keywords. Some of these include: |

| Tech Savvy: Are you over 30? If you remember the early beginnings of the internet, it might
impress you to know that my first computer had a dial-up modem and a monochrome monitor. Just the thought of the
internet was thrilling. I was on a waiting list to get cable internet access before it was available in my neighbourhood,
and the first website I built
went online in 1998. Making
the transition between (and integrating) traditional marketing and the new online world has allowed me to grow
along with technical advances over more than a decade. |
| |
| Results Oriented: Clients will tell you that they got what they wanted, at a price they wanted to
pay and their websites have contributed to the bottom line results of their business. End of story. Get in touch
and I'll tell you exactly who, what and how it was done. I'll send you links and details so you can see the proof. |
